I only could watch the first 10 minutes and when I turned off I assumed it would be a convincing W. Igor needs to be more consistent. They should probably let Quick start more games to lighten the load.

I turned it off after they gave up the first one. This team is pathetic. Absolutely brutal. They’ve had 40+ games to figure it out. Time for some huge trades.
By the way Igor sucked last year too. This is two in a row. Is he really the answer in net? No shot. Kakko will be a top 6 goal scorer in the league before he’ll be the goalie we thought he was
D is really bad right now. Igor can't stop a beach ball, either. The season is going downhill fast. Never thought I would say this, but do we need to get a goalie at the trade deadline?

Last night was a brutal loss in so many ways. The 1st 10 minutes were solid, and then they stopped playing. How do you not go hard for a full 60 minutes vs. the defending Cup champs? They're the measuring stick that you want to compare yourself to. Igor has been trash, and the D is underperforming. Trouba, Miller pair leads the way on the unacceptable play list.

Igor? Are you forgetting his last performance?… wake up. It’s Mika and Kreider! The two boyfriends are terrible 5vs5 there’s a reason Chris isn’t the captain and a reason Ottawa traded away Zibby. They aren’t top 3 players on any team in the NHL. Kreider is the most overrated Ranger in team history. The stats are inflated and take away his PPPs his an absolute duster.
Time for Mika and Kreider to pick it up? No… it’s time for them to pack it up.
10-10-1 in past 21 games……… we’ve been average for awhile and only 9 pts from looking outside of playoffs ….let’s hope we go on a hot streak again…. Two big back to backs coming up this weekend for sure….LGR!
Man, the first 10 minutes were great and then it just…stopped. Really scary. Reminds me of a few years ago where it seemed like whenever they get scored against they tense up and get self-concious. The mistakes start stacking up like they forget how to play hockey. The crap passing decions are infuriating, and the constant rushes against turn your stomach into knots. It's also really weird where they can't seem to figure out a goalie. Sure there is luck with weird bounces but it can feel like a curse. It's insane that in the majority of the games they've lost this season they've been run over.
But, hey that set powerplay was rad.
This team won’t win anything this year unless drury can make some changes on this roster otherwise nothing with change until the big contract guys are gone it could be a tough couple of years. Rangers fans we arent any good

Here's another problem: Quick is 1-3-1 in his last five starts. When he was on his game, the Rangers were basically unbeatable, despite Shesterkin's average numbers.

Quick has been way better than Igor this season, not something I thought I'd ever say. Igor's been poor, at best, all season. Few good games sprinkled in here and there.
Need a good shake up and get things going again.
Yes, Igor has not been good from training camp to now. He has had made some good saves but overall he's nothing special this season, so far.
Igor isn't even top 20 in goals against or save %. His numbers this year are worse than last years, and last years were worse than the year before.
Panic? No, 30 games (only the last 15 of them really bad) doesn't reverse a 5 year trend with stars. He's been an elite, top 5 goalie in every year except this one, and top 2 or 3 in a couple of those years. His GAA/SV% are too high, 2.84 and .902 respectively, but they are not astronomical or irredeemable. There are teams whose goaltending is so bad they'd take those numbers in a heartbeat. Igor just set a ridiculous standard or himself. He needs to get that down to 2.50 and .915 to go deep into the playoffs. The team is still 28-14-2 and leading the division. But we do need a turnaround quick. Need to win 7/10 and Igor does need to shut it down. I'd have Hank go in and talk to him in private.
