  3. Geez, the LA Kings have fallen off the radar in a big way. They were supposed to mount a challenge on the summit of the Pacific Division at one point, having played like 5 games less than Vegas and Vancouver, and now they're getting left way behind. Losing at home to one of the worst teams in the league this season has got to suggest they're not even close to being considered Cup contenders.

  4. Cool that Grier seems have instantly replaced Timo with Zetterland.

Zetterland makes 1.4 mill a year 2 year deal and can be traded to all 31 teams and is an RFA so the sharks own his rights anyway.

Timo makes 8.8 mill a year and after this season he can't be traded for 4 years unless he agrees to it himself.

Even if Timo is clearly the better player he is not twice as good as Zetterland . Timo is paid over 6 times more money.

I will always be a Timo fan but this was a win for grier and the sharks.

  5. Look, the Kings played a great game, but Kahkonen played an even better one. I wholeheartedly believe that LA was the better team this game, and deserved the two points, but that is not how hockey works. That's the beauty of the game.

For the Kings though, just "being the better team" and "playing a better game" doesnt cut it. It's the results that matter, now more than ever for this team that is still slumping. They have a measly 3 wins since Christmas. That's it. They've had plenty of games where they probably should've come out of with 2 points, but have been unsuccessful.

This team needs urgency. I like Todd as a coach. He's done some great things, but nothings changing. They're still slumping. I had hoped the win against Carolina would've sparked something, but it didn't. Then, the Rangers came along, and the Kings won. Against Jonathan Quick no less. So with the next two games being against the Sharks and Sabres, I had hopes that something would change, and in a way, it did. The Kings pkayed great tonight, but like I said before, no results. Just another loss added to the pile that they've accumulated over the last few weeks.

I don't know. Just another sad rant here, but it hurts watching this team come up short time and time again. So much potential being wasted. We've seen the potential from this team already. I mean, they exhibited that potential over the first two months of the season, and it was amazing to watch, and it's just dissappeared. I can't help but look at Edmonton and Vancouver. Two new coaches, and the two teams are soaring. I don't want McClellan lose his job, but there isn't many options left for this team.

I'm fine with Kings just making the postseason however they can, but making the playoffs has become a big IF for LA.

Anyway, rant over. I'm just a disappointed Kings fan bearing witness to his teams continued mediocrity.
    Go Kings, I guess.

  6. There's something seriously wrong with the Kings. Losing to the 32nd team!?? Blake should've gotten someone like Perry for that scoring and grit. Now, Oilers looks solid to take the cup.

  7. That was impressive for The Sharks … damn you could have beat them in regulation
but good that you still kept the Kings to 1 point … thanks fellas .

  8. Эксперимент показал что фольга на рыб оказывает противоположное воздействие. Ангелочкам надо учесть это.
