    *Binnington

Also no, I think he is a horrible culture fit. He’s a child and can’t keep his emotions in check. Pass.

  2. Binnington and Rod in the same room? Sounds fun, but yeah absolutely not.

Probably unpopular but I’d begrudgingly take binner, i think he’s still got it. He’s kept his cool so far this season. We’s springboard right into villainy though haha

I saw that proposal on capfriendly the other day and laughed really hard then and am laughing really hard now

No, and Bunting is in the first year of a multi-year deal.

Even if the trade made sense (it doesn’t), trading a a guy you just signed to a multi-year deal is a bad look for the front office and could make players less willing to sign here.

I’m not against them trading away KK. I just don’t think Binnington is the guy to go after.

  7. So we’re going to trade a 30 point winger, an 18 point slumping center, and a 1st and 2nd pick…….. for a 33 point winger, and a 2.98/.906 goaltender who has a history of being « emotional ».

If Waddell approves this, he needs to be checked for dementia and/or run out of town on a rail.

KK trade, yes. His line has been soft & an Achilles heal lately.

Bunting, no way. He’s just settling in.
    Benn & Buch, nope!

Honestly thought about posting this as satire.

Binner being a potential trade piece in this goalie market does make sense. STL should be in total rebuild and the guy can make saves.

Not saying this is a deal I’d do but I think STL taking calls on Binner makes some sense.

That site is always trash and just making stuff up

I have less than zero interest in seeing Binnington in our crease. I’d be interested in what it would take to get Buchnevich but this trade as it stands is an easy pass.

I just don’t think this is a fair trade.

I wouldn’t put it past Don to see binner as an option, it’s a more left field option I could see him jumping on.

This just seems like a massive overpayment by the canes and if they are willing to move our first rounder then why even go this route? Just make a better package for Saros.

Bennington would be like the fourth person we’ve acquired since last season who I absolutely hate. Let’s go for it.
