To me, it wasn't the bullshit no call on the interference that swung the period in St. Louis's favor. Their goalie's glove save was telling. Hronek probably should have tried to deke and play it around him, but chose to shoot straight at him. St. Louis can be thankful he got them out of this one, as Canucks outplayed and outshot them, except for the scoreboard. Made some massive saves.

That's hockey on that last play. Pettersson should have gotten up quicker instead of expecting a call. It's overtime, don't play weak.
Ultra SOFT play by Peterson. Yes it was interference, but he got up with zero urgency. Zero dog. Easily could have blocked the shot if he played with some effort there. Especially after turning it over twice right before.
Bullshit call at the end, Canucks deserved to win this one. Tough break but Im glad they picked up the point. Great job Canucks!!!!
I'm sick of NHL refs being excused for affecting the outcomes of games by not calling things consistently by the book.
Make the right call, swallow the whistle, it still impacts the game, so at least do the thing that makes you look competent at your job!

clearly a penalty, but it's OT when whistles go away as well, so gotta get back on your feet. IIRC thomas got tripped bad in OT vs boston that also led to the boston game winning goal as well, and IIRC petterson against the Rangers?
anyways, lots of things could've been better about this game, the Canucks didn't exactly look convincing against a team barely in playoff contention, so more than a few things to clean up. That overskate in OT was brutal.

I don’t get all these softies in the comments. Lil Petey weighs about 150 pounds and is tall. Probably the easiest player in the league to knock over. Schenn barely pushed him, anyone else in the league would not have gone down like that. Petterson also should have gotten up quicker. No excuses.
That's twice this year Petey was interfered with in OT that led to the winning goal by the opposition.

I do think Petey was having a bit of an off night, and I can SORT of get the argument that he played up the hit. Still, it was pretty blatantly a penalty… Call both if you have to, but don't let that one go.
I'd say we should install an Airbag on Petey's numbers. it will pay itself off after a couple of shifts.

overrated petterson. imma cry when he gets over payed. the best bet would be to trade him while his stock is high. trade him for barzal sure petey MIGHT be better but we save 3 4 mill and that is worth.
Ref clearly thought he went down to easy, did kind of look like that in real time, not a clear call imo.
