  1. He never lost his form, his teammates in front of him didnt hang him out to dry. Oh wait, 2 on nothing with only Samsonov to stop them, and Samsonov saved the game. Great game Sammy!!!

  2. The Leaf's fluff four benched. no kidding 0 for 5 .

All my years watching hockey I've never seen a two on none break away for the team a man down while the Leafs were on a powerplay. Just terrible team communication on the ice

They were very lucky to win that game. the goalie saved the day

  3. Leave the guy alone you morons…. Give him space. Let him recoup with his teammates instead of shoving mic’s in his face every possible second.

  4. Sammy didn't change, Toronto defence still sucks, the only change that all this overpaid princesses in front began to do the housekeeping work.

All of a sudden, no scoring, but very good goaltender play.

  5. The leafs stars gave up on that 2 on 0. Some, like mathews, even chose to leave the ice rather than back check. Shameful.

  6. My God, the Jets make games so boring to watch. It's like watching the Devil's trap game of old. Sure, they win, but not very entertaining and I certainly couldn't watch every game in the season. Mind you, I've stopped watching many of the Leafs games for completely different reasons lol … they just suck! This has to be the worst Leafs team I've seen in a LONG time, so the fact that the Jets couldn't even score a single goal is disappointing, however, I think the Jets will light it up on Sat and expose the Leafs for what they really are… a team that can't even make the playoffs (where Marner and Matthews essentially disappear!), let alone win a playoff round.

Edit: Oh, and if it wasn't for Sammy, I'd be wanting my money back for last night's game! I don't think I've ever chanted "SAMMY!" as loud as I did last night!

  7. Sammy! Sammy! Sammy! As for the rest of the team, boooooooooooo! How can you keep saying you support Sammy and love the guy when you leave him out to dry so often, even abandoning him on a 2 on 0??!?!?!?!!! WTF? To say you care is BS… show him/us you care by NOT abandoning the poor guy ffs!

  8. We still have goalie issues but it was great to see Samsonov have a good night and the crowd rallying behind him because he has gone through a lot emotionally over the past few weeks.

  9. I dont blame Sammy or any Russian having a down season.. How many people would be able to work in another country when your family and friends are at war. The Media brushes this major fact under the rug.
