We love gally’s grit but that was so not cool. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt since I’m biased, maybe it went too fast for him as he committed to the check. Hope he sits some games out and clears his head. He’s gotta be a better example for the younger guys.

This was a very bad and dirty hit. I’m very surprised Gallagher would do this. I wonder if it was retaliation for something earlier. But regardless this should get a long suspension.

I love Gally, I really do, but man is it hard to watch him play out there. Sometimes I watch old highlights from him so I can remember why we actually liked this guy.
Even if the league doesn’t suspend him, St. Louis should make him a healthy scratch for at least 2 games. It was a bonehead play that almost cost us the game.

Concerning everyone shitting on how he’s played this year, I like what I’ve seen from him this season vs last. That hit was dirty and he deserves at least 5 games, but despite being kinda ratty, I can’t think of a time when he’s been downright dirty. Either way, I’m ok with whatever suspension he gets, can’t justify that kind of Scott Stevens head hunting.
