Perdre est une bonne chose. Sans cela, les choses ne changeraient jamais. Pour ma part, je suis impatient de voir ce que l’avenir nous réserve… un demi-verre plein bébé

We’ve been mid for 20 years… how much longer do we have to wait??

I think we’re primed for a quick turn around.

    1. Markstrom is still a solid starting goalie, and is the perfect candidate to mentor Wolf until he is ready.
    2. Coleman, Backlund, and Kadri are solid veterans who are aging well.
    3. Weegar and Andersson are a solid top pair, and are still relatively young.
    4. Zary, Coronato, and Pelletier look like they will be solid NHL players.
    5. Pospisil is exceeding all reasonable expectations.
    6. Schwindt, Klapka, and Duehr look like good depth pieces who will be able to perform their role at close to league minimum.
    7. The Flames have a good collection of later round prospects who look like viable depth NHL players in the next few years.
    8. Defensive prospects like Poirier, Kuznetsov, and Solovyov look like they are going to make the jump to the NHL sooner than later.
    9. The entire 2023 draft class for the Flames looks like it is meeting or exceeding expectations given their draft position. Its still early to tell but early results are looking good.

If the Flames handle Lindholm, Hanifin, Tanev, Vladar, and Mangiapane well, we could be in good shape in a couple years.
