Lol. Right there with him. 2 years of blatant tanking in a row should piss off a fanbase

Were the hawks supposed to be THIS bad this year? Is this part of the plan? I know hockey rebuilds take longer than football but holy smokes you gotta feel for Mrazek. How long until this team is competitive again? Are they even on track to be competitive again at this rate??

It’s so tough to watch what’s happening. The last few games they’ve been very competitive but jeez, if you don’t score goals you’re not going to win. At least we have ONE goalie who is giving his all to keep us in the game

Call me strange for this but I’ve actually kind of enjoyed watching them this year. They are losing most of their games because with their current injuries they are significantly less talented than pretty much everyone that they play (plus they’re below average in terms of talent even if they were all healthy), but because I really never expect them to win losing is only disappointing when it’s a humiliating blowout.
Unlike the Bears they aren’t regularly doing stupid things, building strategies around things they are bad at, and shooting themselves in the foot, unlike the White Sox they consistently play with an effort level appropriate for people making six to seven figures to play a sport, and unlike the Bulls their front office is self-aware about the state of the team and has them on a realistic path to contention in the medium-term future.
Woof, writing this it’s bad times in Chicago overall though.
