1. Just what the sabres need. Another young, unproven, dman that they can overpay to keep here at the end of his contract. Hell why not sign Zadina, Puljujarvi and any other high pick that hasn't panned out too

  2. So much disrespect when it comes to Mitts. I don't view it as a compliment. He's not a player I get rid of. Mitts plugged every hole throughout the lineup that we just asked of him.

  3. Ill take him as High end A-Chip Prospect and as a big tall Righty with Medium elite Talent. Straight up Isak Rosen and 3rd for Jiricek. Save the $ for Peterka and Quinn mitts is 25 and cant get any Higher than a 3rd line center spot. Get something for him now while hes playing well and wether we make the playoffs not hes a good trade piece. Id really be looking for a decent Power forward that Shoot Right

  4. With Dahlin, Samuelson, Power & R johnson the Sabres just have to fill out the bottom of their defensive depth chart.

  5. Rosen or Savoie for a young defenseman is what i would look into. The Sabres might have to move out a Tuch, especially if Ostlund or Kulich are the real deal. In reality the Sabres might have to get younger to keep a few more top prospects on the team. Sabres need to let Grigs & Okposo go in the offseason as well. Greenway would be a perfect 4th line player long term if his price is right.

  6. Why are you wasting your time talking about a coaching change – is not going to happen until the middle of next year, then it would be Appert

  7. I say, when the opportunity arises we should trade every player on the current roster other than our 2 young goalies and Benson. They are proven losers and under performers

  8. I would trade Mitts at the deadline for a decent 4th liner. Nice guy but he has been part of the losing culture that we need to change.

  9. Jokiharju & Savoie? Thing is, you have to play him now. Can't trade for this guy and bury him in Roch. That would explode.

  10. It sounds like somebody the Sabres need , another delusional player that thinks he is entitled to a spot on a nhl team . Also who are the fans that are clamoring for RUFF? Yes let’s get an old dinosaur coach , so we can play that exciting style of dump and chase . ADAMS is unqualified to be a GM , and is clueless on how to build a team . He is also paralyzed with fear of making a mistake , so forget any trades that make sense !

  11. I’m not 100% sure which forward prospect I would trade, but I’m not sure it would be Matt Savoie. He and Benson have a LOT of chemistry together and could easily see him being the Peterka/Quinn combo that Cozens has for Mitttelstadt.

You’re right though. We have a MAJOR conundrum when it come to forward. We do need to trade a few while they still have trade value and aren’t labeled “busts” across the league before we can move them.
