SoFlo in the house. The Wife and I were at the game against the Islanders, and we had a blast, especially with the win.
I want Spencer Knight gone on principle. He waits until he signs the bridge deal then all of a sudden he has to abandon the team in the heat of a playoff push because he's got OCD. F outta here. He's a goalie, he's supposed to have OCD. It's part of the job description.
Nick Cousins lost his spot, imo – and i think Zito has an ivy league guy handling the cap scenarios. You need homegrown talent to win the cup – look at the lightning… lots of guys played themselves out of there. To get rid of Knight would be so shortsighted – UNLESS trading him gets you a guy that moves the needle enough to win you a cup

The knight issue is, don't want to move him to a eastern conference team. Stoli type and sized goalies are the future. Ekblad may retire if the cats win the cup this year…maybe? He has a bunch of injury history and even concussions. That way ekblad can stay in the area with his dr wife. Reino 8×8,so he can stay in the area too. Don't sign him til after the season though. Tippett did get minutes though, he played 1st line with Barkov and was on the 2nd line with Huberdeau in the 2021 playoffs and couldn't produce on any line in Florida, clearly he needed a change of scenary and fits better in Philadelphia. Thats the price you give up to get a top tier rental like Giroux, if we won the cup no one would care about Tippett
