Les Flames échangent Lindholm aux Canucks contre Kuzmenko, des espoirs et des choix

Cela pourrait être une bonne affaire pour les deux équipes. Cela perpétue également une tradition selon laquelle ces équipes échangent des joueurs.

  1. the news has to go out attitude is amazing on this channel…Shannon keep up your excellent work..it is totally appreciated

  2. “Bruise-tev-vich” is the pronunciation I believe. Very good, albeit slightly overrated prospect who is killing it with Kitchener in the O this season as a 19 year old.

  3. Seems like Calgary got a King's Ransom for Lindholm, unlike that recently reflected upon BORAT trade. (Bo Horvat for Beauvillier and Aatu Raty)

  4. Hunter Brzustewicz is what makes this deal more weighted in the Flames having said that Canucks improve thier team without losing pieces

  5. I have to say I became bit of Hunter Brzustewicz supporter. Rooting for him to make the Flames :). But to be honest I have seen his name, but not familiar with him either.

  6. Bad trade on every level. An absolute disaster. So after half a good season we are selling the farm for a guy with 9 goals….. like we’re just stocked with endless prospects. This is why the Canucks will never win the cup. No way Colorado Vegas Dallas or Boston does this deal. And guess what they all have cups. Hmm wonder why. 9 goals…..

Oya and he plays weak and is a perimeter player. Perfect for the playoffs. What a joke this team is. Giving away firsts and prospects after half a good season

  7. "Patrik All-in" Lindholm is a two time Selke nominated player and is much more complete than Kuzy. I don't think Kuzy, even if he found his offense again was ever going to truly fit into Toc's system. With the re-emergence of Boeser, we have plenty of scoring. We got another two way, right handed forward with experience and offensive ability. Jurmo will never see NHL ice, 4th round pick is irrelevant, Brus is a third round pick who's having a great year but statistically unlikely to play major NHL minutes or games, so really it's Kuzy and a LATE 1st. Chances of getting an impact player after the first 15 or so picks is unlikely. This is a good trade and immediate makes the team better and more complete Prospects like Willander and Pettersson are more likely to make the team than Brus which makes him expendable. Don't forget the names Sawyer Mynio and Kirill Kudryavtsev as D prospect to watch.

  8. As if VAN wasn't a real threat for a cup run Lindholm is a perfect add.
But wow they paid a 1st a 4th and two 3rd round prospects , guess Kuzy was not a positive in the trade at all?
Good for Cgy too just not this year .

  9. Honestly mate, Hunter is a top scorer in the OHL as a defenseman or so ive heard. I feel like Calgary fleeced you for a rental that just pushes Suter down to your 4th line (not bad but oof on the cost).

If the Canucks win it all, I'm sure all is forgiven. But if they don't this could be a pretty bad trade, especially if they dont lock Lindholm in on a long term contract (Petterson isn't going to be happy with the RFA contract after thus I'll bet).

  10. Kind of a high price for a rental unless Canucks have a deal worked out for extension and just not released yet !!

  11. I think it’s great for both teams. Good deal. Lindholm is a very good, responsible two-way center, good in face offs, and kills penalties. A great add for Vancouver.
I’m a Flames fan, but will be cheering for the Canucks as well

  12. I mean as a flames fan, this season feels all over the place and anything could happen, but I’m genuinely so happy for the canucks! It’s shaping up to be a really exciting season and I wish them all the best

  13. Getting rid of a Russian is always good. But bringing in another Swede to this soft team is not going to help in the playoffs.

  14. A new start will do Lindholm good. Calgary pulled back a haul of players in return. Kuzmenko is not impressive. He's a one-dimensional player with no upside unless he expands his game.

  15. I think this is the year a Canadian team wins the cup. The Oilers & Nucks are the best two teams in the league right now and Winnipeg has been strong all year and none of the American teams look particularly threatening. I'm rooting for the Nucks because I'd like to see a Canadian team win with an American captain raising the cup. Yeah, I know he grew up in Toronto, but hockey's like that nowadays.

  16. So much for the Canucks' 2024 draft class. Now without their first, second, fourth and fifth-round picks. Ouch. Very disappointed to see Kuzy go, (especially to the Flames) after following him since his KHL time, but…

  17. Like the return on someone who isn't going to sign an extension anyway. Hopefully this signals that the Calgary Flames are ready to embrace a rebuild as supposed to selling off future assets to hopefully make the playoffs. Andrei Kuzmenko needs a change of scenery and both Ryan Huska and Craig Conroy sold him given Calgary was on his no trade list initially.

  18. I hope you get to enjoy more of your vacation. I honestly thought that the Canucks would have to do a separate trade with Kuzmenko to make cap space, but it worked out great.

  19. Lindy is a great asset. Any team would get better with him, and his time in Calgary was over; he needs the scenario changed. On the other hand, the Flames have got good prospects. A fair deal.

  20. In three year time you will know who hunter is… he's 3rd on the ohl in points.. as a defenseman. I am still ok with the trade as he won't get the mins he will need in Vancouver but you will hear of him in a few years time I'm sure.

  21. Seems too expensive for a rental, but freeing up salary going forward may have been equally important for the canucks. If the trade was to free up salary to resign a few players, and they got a rental for this year the trade seems much better

  22. When is your next trip to California 😉

I've slept on it and think this is a good deal for Vancouver. Lindholm and Petey played in the world juniors together so that second line is looking much better (even though it's now like 1A and 1B top lines)

  23. Would it be an overpay if the canucks get him to sign a Kadri type deal? Rumors are hes looking for 8-9cap hit. If its 7 is that good for a two-way selke runner up?

  24. Its official… If the Canucks make a long playoff run and lose, fans will riot…. and if the Canucks have a weak playoff performance and get bounced in the second or first round, fans will also riot… get ready Vancouver…. I think this trade is a win for the flames who should be rebuilding at this point.

  25. would be so great as a Canucks fan too see Kuzi find success in Calgary, maybe bring that team into the wildcard spot and we can have all the western Canadian teams in the playoffs 🥹
