Parise is going to be on 3rd or 4th line. its a good signing for depth . they still need a true back up and i see that being MAF

I think Avs will make moves. With Sakic though we won’t know until he allows us to know lmao. But Parise as a 4th liner is great. Like it. Can build. Get Nuchuskin and Gabe back and yeah you are a real solidified cup contender again.
The "what if" lineup for the avs in the playoffs is formidable. But its fonna take aot to get there.
I wouldnt touch Toews, Makar, Byram, Malinksi in d. Next 3-6 year that d-group could be NHL best and make Colorado powerhouse. In forwards i wouldnt touch MacKinnon and Rantanen. I would try to get new goalie, but getting Markström from Calgary is hard because salary Cap. Personally i would see Eriksson Ek perfect number two center for Avs, but Wild probably not trade him in price what Avs can pay. As huge Granlund fan i recommend him as second line center for Avs, but SJ should try to keep him.

The championship is AV's to lose. The core has already won and now they've gotten some big pieces like Wood, Parise and even Kiviranta. These all all relentless players, so it should be VERY obvious they are going for high energy players to support the core.

Byram isn't going anywhere. They keep the D Corps, Use the RyJo Contract to upgrade the 2nd Unit. Landy can even play the middle come Post Cap Season…1st Rounder is likely in play, a move not often liked by the Avs FO

Im not opposed to Lindholm, but i have a hard time believing Calgary would want RyJo as the secondary piece.

The only reason I'd think the avs would even think about trading byram away is his concussion issues. When he gets dinged again the question is how bad will it be n how long will he be out n with his issues last season the next ding may ruin his career. Sad but true.

I enjoyed your video and your take. I agree with you that the Avs shouldn't trade Byram. He's got a much higher ceiling than Girard, and the Avs know it. That's why they didn't move him to Philly for Gauthier 1 for 1. They know he has more value than that. I can't see this version of the Avs trading Byram for any rentals. That's not the style of the current regime. They sort of wait until the perfect time and swoop up a undervalued player like Kadri and Toews. I can see the Avs being forced to make some difficult moves this summer, if/when Landeskog returns. He hasn't played any meaningful hockey in two years. If he does return, it would be for like 1 game in the Finals or something.
I watch every game… I think Byrum trade is a great idea. His perceived value is way higher than his contribution. Our D is solid. Geordie does need some help tho.
First off, Colorado is retardedif they do not trade Girard for cap space. They are strapped on money moving forward and Girard has a no trade clause next year. If they trade for Lindholm they wont be able to keep him past this season. And the Flower costs 3.5 mill, which is money they also dont have. It all starts with trading Girard.
99% sure Crosby will stay and retire a Penguin but the rebuild is already here. Imagine if he chased one last cup with Flower and Mackinnon in Colorado 😮

Myers is too good to be in the AHL. And for you not mentioning Kovalenko and Nichushkin, this lineup will be stack.
This trade would have to be initiated by Crosby, of course, with money retention and with buddy already being traded. I think Crosby wants to chase down another cup or 2, and to do MacKinnion would be 2nd to winning another one in Pittsburgh. I think this might help both teams, but as Avs fan, Bryam off the table, but as a Nova Scotian, this is my fantasy trade

the whole reason the avs would trade byram (other than being a valuable asset) is to free up a spot for malinski (and jones if they feel like playing him on certain nights). bringing in Hanifin would not be a good choice imo
Lindholm dosnt fit this team hes not that good. Maybe get kadri back or crosby or guntzel some one good lindy cant even score anymore
No way Avs Trade Byram away sorry but i dont see that happening. Maybe Sammy G but not Byram. He is way to valuable to trade away. But thats just my opinion
