  1. Good RoH list, not one I disagree with. I don't think Sykora or Arnott get in, but they'll always hold an unofficial title of best line (or one of the best) in team history – with or without the plaque. And I say that even with Petr being my favorite back in the day. (Still have his jersey.) Thanks for the content before the games start back up again.

  2. I’m going to attend the 2026 Olympics in Milano and can’t wait to cheer on the USA. It’s going to be amazing.
Too bad for the Russian players, not really. Get out of Ukraine and stop killing people that don’t want anything to do with Russia.
No to Henrique even though he is awesome. I was at the Devils vs Panthers game when he scored the Double OT goal to move on to the 2nd round. Took my nephew to the game, it was his first and now he is a huge Devils fan. We need a goalie, defense and physical players.
Ring of Honor – Jacques Lemeire, Pat Burns, Larry Robinson, Chico, Lou, Doc and John MacLean. The rest of the guys you mentioned should be up to. Arnott would be good since he scored the greatest goal in Devils history.

  3. I know there is hate or bad blood when it comes to John MacLean. I hated when he left the Devils since he was my favorite player since I started watching the Devils around the ‘84-‘85 season. Little story about my first Devils game.
My Dad got glass seats from my Uncle for a game at the Meadowlands. I remember sitting there with my brother (twin), we were around 8 years old and Ken Daneyko skated by us during warmups and smiled. He didn’t have teeth and I thought that was the awesome and he was the baddest ass man on the planet. From then on I was hooked.
Back to MacLean. My feelings on him and the Ring of Honor. He should be up due to him being a Cup winner, used to be the All time points leader, scored the historical goal that got the Devils into their first playoff series and was part of the old school group that solidified a professional hockey team in NJ. All the bs at the end of his career is meaningless when you look back at his time playing for the Devils. I won’t bring up the coaching debacle, lol.
I went skydiving with his jersey on, if I was going to die, I was going to die a Devil 🙂

  4. #15 Johnny MacLean has to be included in the Ring of Honor. 14 seasons played, and for more than a couple of those, he was one of a few noticeable players that stood out on that team, specifically in the mid to late 80s. Stefane #44 Richer is another player where The Devils don't win that cup in 95 without his contributions. He was always electric on the ice and had a nasty slapshot. I love #21 Randy McKay, he's one of my favorite all-time players, along with #22 Claude Lemieux.

  5. I would love to get Henrique back….Remember when we traded him? That season we were off to a great start. We got rid of him for Vatenen, and we tanked the rest of the season, barely made the playoffs, and were elimitated with ease by the Lightning. Now do I think its all 1 player? No. Coaching had a big role in it…but Henrique was a good soldier. He did what had to be done.
