The takeaway from this game is simple : the Knicks cannot compete against Tier 1 teams like these Lakers. Jalen Brunson is a good No.2 option in a big 3 but he ain't a franchise player. As for Julius Randle, he is an offensive liability in the playoffs, a stat-padding ball hoarder who thinks he's the Eastcoast Lebron James.
“Hart driving coast to coast, BLOCKED BY DAVIS!!! Right to Brunson, Brunson BLOCKED BY DAVIS AGAIN!!!” AD is the runaway defensive player of the year in my mind. His impact on that end of the floor is impossible to replace/replicate, especially in this day and age of high scoring games.
