    You can see why Nicolas Hague beat out Bouchard as the OHL’ top defenceman. Hague can defend whereas Bouchard can’t. To win in the playoffs you can’t give up easy goals like the first Las Vegas goal tonight – both defence watching the play unawares that there is a Las Vegas forward behind them. Hill played well and took away the bottom of net, the Oilers couldn’t hit the net when they shot high.

    Not gonna gloat. Oilers are a good team. A 16 game win streak is impressive. Both goalies were good tonight and felt like a playoff game: Hill made some incredible saves. GG Edmonton

    Bouchard 🤬… Having a killer shot, he was too soft, too undecisive, too scared to shoot the puck in the last minute. As a result, he lost the puck and Vegas scored an empty netter. I wonder if McDavid was very upset on the bench because of him.

    I am fan of both Edmonton🇨🇦 Oilers and Ottawa🇨🇦 Senators.
    And fan of Tunisia🇹🇳 and Peru🇵🇪 in soccer because of Canadian🇨🇦 colors.
    Edmonton didn't win today – but I hope Ottawa can also defeat Vegas Golden Knights too one day even if it is a fluke win.😂

    I thought McDAVID CAME TO PLAY BUT THE REST OF THE TEAM LOOKED OUT OF SINK ESPECIALLY DRAISAITL. He just did not show up. I hate games after a long break from the all-star game. DRAISAITL was Very slow- looked like an old man on ice. Also too many turn overs against a really great team in VEGAS ON VEGAS HOME ICE, on GARY BUTTMANS LOVE CHILD team VEGAS GOLDEN GIRLS.Too many missed opportunities. I .hate their building and ice . It’s like knock hockey. I hate their glitz and fan base … it just not nhl Hockey but a circus performance and circus fans not hockey fans … showgirls, bands fireworks and dancing girls is not hockey . I guess that’s what BUTTMAN LIKES. Circus fans and a team that looked like they were members of the FOO FIGHTERS BAND led by Dave grohl. I knew this was going to be a hard game for the OILERS. But they gave up the puck too much and their D was making too many mistakes. I hope the end of streak doesn’t affect them and they continue their quest for playoff success and playoff position. Disappointed in the loss and end of historic streak but I just want the oilers to win. Beat the GOLDEN GIRLS IN THE PLAYOFFS. By the way PITTSBURGH DID NOT WIN A CUP SINCE that 17 streak OF 1992-1993. Still very proud of my oilers. 16 winning streak is a huge achievement in this era of hockey. They were bound to lose. They met up with a great team in VEGAS GARY BUTTMANS LOVE CHILDREN AND LOST IN A KNOCK HOCKEY BUILDING. They will bounce back and continue winning

    Getting goalied by Adin Hill still feels surreal in 2024. Beyond that this game felt exactly like the playoffs 2023. Oilers only getting one powerplay while 3 blatant calls are missed on Vegas. Knights really got the golden ticket from the NHL. The playoffs will again be a total gongshow when it comes to officiating. Only positive thing is, that the winning streak is finally over so we can focus on other things again – especially now, wenn the distracting All Star Game is done and the important part of the season is beginning.

    Oilers have the easiest schedule in the NHL. Look it up, not joking! I think only 2 back to backs the entire season. Only 3 games per week or less. Other teams have 4-5 games a week crammed in, Avs just had 3 games in 4 nights coming up. Ridiculous. Oilers get to play the Ducks, Coyotes, Blackhawks like more than anyone else.

    Oilers just weren't playing smart enough hockey. Vegas just crowded their goalie and let Edmonton force plays into them. When Vegas went up, they just ragged the puck. Edmonton should have played mean and forced plays from below the goal line into the slot or dots and then put away any trash left in front of the net.

    Let’s be real. Vegas didn’t end the streak, Aiden Hill did. That performance was incredible. Oilers easily should have had 3 goals.

    This is the one and only night I was rooting for the Knight. McDavid is the Mahomes of the NHL and the Oilers are the Chiefs. Hopefully this stops the insane glazing.

    As a Canucks fan, the Golden Knights terrify me the most out of anyone in the division. The fact they were missing Eichel and still managed to win against the Oilers shows they are the best in the division. Not only is their goaltending elite but their defensive game is one of the best in the NHL. As a Canucks fan, I don’t think we can beat them in a playoff series.

    I so wish that this streak would have ended in Edmonton instead. I would have loved to have seen the disappointment on the faces of all those Oiler fans 😂.
