  1. Rangers needed that all star rest to focus and, did just that with an O.T. win…L.G.R.!!!!!

  2. Recently got into hockey and you're an absolute content machine, learn something new every game. Very happy with tonight's results, NEW YORK BABY!

  3. This was one of the best games the Islanders played all year. I think they are buying into Roy's system. Could make the rest of the season pretty interesting.

  4. Lafreniere had a great moment there..really exciting to see the offensive energies from him..exactly when needed! Assist from Quick on Lafreniere OT goal. Great game.

  5. Completely off topic but any thoughts on the rumors of Phil Kessel to Vancouver to reunite with Tocchet for a playoff run?

  6. Rangers played well defensively but look so inept offensively. They turned it on in the third and the OT. Nice win!

  7. The Leafs are quickly running out of runway. It wouldn't surprise me if the coach gets sacked soon. Whether you're a fan of Sheldon Keith or not, I can't see them skirting missing the Playoffs on such a crucial year.

Granted, I want to see the miss because I think they need a hard reset, including firing Shanahan.

  8. Absolutely love the Yeti foot!!! Wish they'd bring it back.

I live near Pikes Peak (Sun Mountain to the Ute) where there have been numerous sightings of Yeti. There is even A Yeti crossing sign on the highway up the mountain. Thus the reason Yeti were on the Avs jerseys to start with.

  9. Hate that you can gain an advantage by being in the penalty box, seems wrong and I know they have considered making the player not able to touch the puck unless they come back to their own end. It does not really happen enough I think for it to be a big deal and I hate the common well, you should be aware, because it is mostly luck when you gain the puck right as someone steps back onto ice.

Anyways, I think this another example of Keefe just not being up for the job. Barzel scores because his line are on the ice against the third line of the Leafs. This should not happen at Home when you have last change. It is because Matthews, Nylander, and Marner always extend shifts way too long and then the lines get out of sync and the other team traps the Leafs 3rd or 4th line against their top line. Then you get narratives about how he can’t trust the third or forth line because they get scored on too often. It is because he is not setting them up to succeed, the better coaches would be all over his top forwards about their dumb shift lengths. Most forth or third lines are going to struggle against the other teams best forwards. Yes occasionally you need them to survive a shift or two but Keefe gets caught on it all the time. It seems all the opposing coaches go out of their way to make sure their bottom lines play minimally against Mathew’s and company. It drives me nuts as when the games get closer/tighter all these small details are usually the difference between winning and losing.

  10. The Rangers finally showed some sac and beat a good team, uncharacteristically being physical and aggressive. Really enjoying the season that Laffy is having. It’s just unfortunate that Kakko is playing well but just not hitting pay dirt.

  11. I'm annoyed that im part of a fanbase who is more angry about an Engvall tribute video than the actual lost.

  12. The Leafs lose one of their games in hand to the Islanders, who are now just four points back.
As a Wings fan, it's confusing whether to be happy or not with that result.
This is going to be some nailbiting second half:
For the division: Lightning 59 pts, Leafs 58pts, Wings 58 pts
Wild card: Islanders 54 pts and the Pens 51 pts (but with 4 games in hand) 😅

  13. The Rangers mustt've moved up in the power rankings after this win. They looked really godd. LET'S GO RANGERS!

  14. As a brit who dabbles in watching NHL, it really helps someone like me grasp the nuances a bit better.

Thanks for the content THG .👍

  15. Hey Shannon – I'm new to this channel. Love your analysis!
Forgive me if you have already done so, but have you ever given a video tour of your extensive collection of jerseys and hats? Would love to see it!
