I’m fine going for playoffs, always have been. The identity of a team is so much more important than getting a first overall. It took edm how many firsts to even begin to change their identity, and I’ll argue it’s only because they stole McDavid from Buffalo. Never take on the losers mentality!

Vibes were immaculate. Huby looked amazing with Sharky and Kuz. Shilly was silky. Pelts and Roon dog brought good energy

Also, who needs Zadorov at 3.7$M when you can have Pachal at 775$K? Seriously, what a great waiver pick up by Conroy

Make the playoffs or don’t, I am down to watching this team if they play like this. GFG!!

When Kuzmenko scored last night, I audibly gasped. The shock from seeing a shot of that caliber made me feel like a Victorian-era woman seeing an eligible bachelor’s neck without his cravat.

If the Flames move or sign Hanifin, I am happy with wherever they finish this season.

We looked great. At the end of the day though, it is only one game.

Of course, you were going to have a motivated team coming off of trading away one of their top players, and with several players playing their first game for us this year and wanting to prove themselves. And you had another team who was clearly not ready to play.

If we keep this level of play up for several games, then maybe we can discuss playoffs.

That being said, the Huberdeau and Kuzmenko chemistry is something to keep an eye on for future season success.

That’s the team I love, playing with swagger and passion, I don’t think a single guy took the night off. Passes were crisp, playmaking was there, quick ups, pk was solid and damn the PP was unrecognizable, let’s go 💥
