Yeah, I kind of saw it as Demko being in his own world and genuinely not noticing what Swayman was doing. As much as I’m still not over 2011 and get a vindictive delight from the idea of our guys giving Boston the cold shoulder, given Demmer’s a Boston College guy, it seemed unlikely.
Is Demko gunna hug him instead of give him a handshake after we win the cup?
The outrage from Bruins fans on Twitter was ridiculous.
Some people were even tagging his mother who is active on twitter in those hate tweets saying Demmer is an asshole and calling him all type of names.

I think it’s pretty hilarious « clarification » is required. I don’t think Swayman cares, neither does Demko, but the media needs something to talk about. Like, these guys are professionals and they aren’t going to be insecure about this. But it is what it is.
I just think of that Patrick Roy story about how he did a draft interview just to berate him for dancing during games. Seems like that aspect has been beaten out of him.
