Seriously, game day threads bring out all the doomers and fairweather fans, same people who probably turned off their TV’s in that 4-1 deficit vs CBJ. Yes, that was a pathetic showing by the ‘Nucks, but I’d rather it happen now in the regular season vs an s-tier cup contender than in the playoffs. Boston is a good team. So are we. These games happen.
People forgetting that Boston got clapped just 2 nights ago vs the Flames 4-1 L who are fighting for a wild card spot right now. They were looking to make a statement tonight. Sloppy effort and lead feet vs an aggressive forechecking PK = 2 short handed goals. Better these mistakes and holes come out now than in the playoffs.

Ok, not need to panic, but at one point we were outshot 13-4. That’s not a good look. This isn’t the first time it happened. We’ve won a lot of games where we were outshot. But through 2 periods when Demko is not sharp and sporting a .710 sv %, the rest of the team needs to rally together to give him more support.
