Monahan is a play driver. Played most of the season with a washed up Gallagher and washed up Pearson and then with Armia and Evans (4th liners). Absolutely carried them. When he wasn’t on the ice and those other guys were you really noticed it.

Draft picks can't help a team win a Cup in 2024. There are fans who are always ready to overrate the value of 1st round picks. In terms of late 1st round picks 25-32, the odds to draft a star NHL player is about 2:15

Lindholm is a sieve, he was traded away from Carolina because he couldn’t cut it there, so Calgary picked him up and he benefitted from Matthew Tkachuck, so did Johnny hockey and look how crappy he is in Columbus
