I feel like I’m taking crazy pills here, but doesn’t anyone else think that it’s pretty clear Mo didn’t actually mean to crosscheck the guy in the head? For starters, that’s not the kind of player he is, but beyond that, he lets go of his stick *immediately* on impact. Both hands, just lets it go. I think he snapped, but then caught himself and tried to mitigate the damage pretty much right away.
He probably still deserves to be suspended, and given Parros, he *definitely* will be, but the idea that he should be given 15-20 games (let alone investigated for a crime a la Bertuzzi) is just lunacy to me. Am I alone here?
