    Raymond caught Myers looking for another big hit and drew him away from the net front at the 1:00 mark, leaving Sprong open for the goal. Talk about taking a hit to make a play after he already had his head hit by Zadorov earlier and took a hard hit into the boards from Myers like 30 secs before the goal.

    First ever penalty shot OT winner in Red Wings history. Pretty special stuff from the boys so far this 2024 year!

    On a side note, why on earth does the sound guy not cut the music out when journey sings "south Detroit"??? Letting the crowd take it home is quintessential to the song being meaningful IMO. Just feels kinda wrong to keep the music on for that part.

    I think Walman does the Griddy just because he knows the other teams absolutely hate it, and I absolutely love him for it. Nothing better than seeing opposing fans flipping Walman the bird because they can’t cope while he’s doing the Griddy after burning them.
