[Jamey Baskow] Il semble que quelques acquisitions solides et discrètes de la part des Flyers : Ryan Poehling, Sean Walker et Cal Petersen. Bon sang, le directeur général Danny Brière l’a tué pendant l’intersaison #Flyers

    Poehling, yes.

Petersen was a requirement to get a first in the Provorov trade and has barely been with the big club.

Walker also felt like he was a requirement in the Provorov deal (with Helge Grans being the player they were most interested in), but he’s been a goddamned revelation.

It’s probably overstating it a bit to act like Walker and Petersen were deliberate additions that show Briere’s genius. But it is hilarious to think that LA and Columbus gave us a 1st, two 2nd, and a defensive prospect to make our blue line *better.*

poehling is awesome. exactly what you want from a bottom 6 guy, plus he’s smart as hell, just listen to his post game interviews.

Jamey blowing too much smoke here. Petersen was a salary dump who has put together only two fairly solid NHL game together this season, and has been pretty bad for the majority of his time with the Phantoms

  5. Peterson was a salary dump by LA and probably makes more than the Flyers should be paying a backup. If I give Briere credit for anything there, it’s by ensuring the org had goaltender depth with the Carter Hart thing looming

Briere could kill Jamey’s dog and Jamey would twist that as a positive for the Flyers.

Pretty much everything he says is super positive about the Flyers even when they were horrendous.

I remember when he seriously said Hayes was a better UFA pickup than Panarin for the Rangers.
