Ah dude you don't know what you're talking about. Grieg should not of done that. period. What will that do to go up to him and say "hey kid don't do that"…the kid will laugh at you. A clear message needed to be sent, it just sucks that Rielly is going to pay the price for it. I bet you that Grieg wont do that again. The Leafs look FAR softer for retaliating over literally nothing than if they didn't respond. You don't want a guy bombing a clapper from 5 feet into your empty net? Don't let him get the puck and don't be down a goal. Rielly's a loser and should get 8+ games.

If I were a Leafs fan and I have to choose between 6 game suspension to my star defenceman vs no response, I take 6 game suspension.
I have no bias I actually like the leafs better but I see absolutely nothing wrong with that play and absolutely unacceptable what Riley did. I hardly think it warrants a response at all. In my opinion that’d be like cross checking Jake Walman in the head for doing the griddy after winning in OT on a penalty shot
I'm a Leafs fan, and Reilly shouldn't have crosschecked him. Reilly is our good boy, the guy the guy that has been with us for so long, does his job, and plays by the rules, this doesn't seem right
