Reposting this for the Lindy apologists out there:

I’d like to point out that we could’ve been playing like this all season, all what needed to happen was for Lindy to modify and adjust his system. Could have done that at any point in the season, but he waited until after over 50 games had been played while the team struggled along.

Damn Philly just won’t lose. What the hell

  3. RakimWebster

Most complete game all year that I can think of. They looked strong and fast. Defensive structure was great most of the game and goaltending was solid.

Now can someone tell me why the devils were shaking hands with the ref at the end of the game? What did I miss

  4. dog_fantastic

Philly will never stop being a pain in the ass

  5. stacez15

Hatakka has looked so solid since he’s been called up, really pleasant surprise.

The blue line future looks so damn promising

Daws saved 1.29 goals above expected (per Natural Stat Trick), which gives him about 2 goals saved above expected in 10 starts. Barring a trade, he needs to be the main guy going forward.

Solid game. I still think the PP is atrocious and needs to be mixed up a bit. Luke also needs to quit trying too much. I wouldn’t be opposed to seeing Nemec on the PP1.

Tomorrow is going to be difficult against the Preds. I think it’s bullshit that any team should have to play a back to back and have to travel in between the 2 games.

  8. chefboleson

that’s some sick helmet head toff

  9. Flyingbk

Timo played well tonight. Really need him to string together a bunch of impactful games. Like him with Lazar and Mercer.

Hattaka had no idea what they were asking. I just play same game and try to do same things I do in AHL. LMFAO!!!

  11. IncreaseInVerbosity

I fully expected Santeri Hatakka to be a warm body to fill a depleted roster. He’s actually been really good over the first few games, thought he was one of the best Devils tonight. Meier’s best game in a while as well.

Damn folks we gotta appreciate how we are so young and raw. I love watching these kids grow. These guys need to start thinking fuck it man why not us? No pressure anymore just play.

Jack said “when we get the saves it’s easier to win”😂😂😂

  14. SoupySails37

I can’t tell you all how good a complete game effort with minor stress feels. That was really really nice. Now that again like 12 times in a row and hopefully we get back into it.

  15. Complete 60 minute effort tonight. Really impressive stuff

  16. reactiondelayed

Kraken is just a ridiculous name for a sports franchise.

  17. reactiondelayed

Really like Hatakka. Looks like he beefed a little bit too. Skates well, seems comfortable in all three zones, and not allergic to contact.

  18. Wow..pleasant to see actual rebound control.

  19. sanbaba

That was a beautiful clinic, but I want to be sure everyone knows we also got *all* the puck luck tonight. We can play like this every night and not win more than 60% of our games. But. If we do, then we could, and that’s the amount of games we generally need to win. So. Nice. 😎

  20. Cum_on_doorknob

Wow, team defense two games in a row. I love it.

  21. TjamesS007

He already is showing so much but like,Simon Nemec is going to be so freaking good. I was just watching the replay of that cost to cost play and he doesn’t finish it off but it was so smooth!!! I can’t stop smiling now

  22. PicNov91

I really like this new look on D. It looked like they had an extra skater dropping down low in the defensive zone. It really limited the high danger chances against. Anytime Seattle had something going, it was quickly snuffed out. If this is how the last 30+ games are going to be, we can definitely go on a little run. Tomorrow is a big test. If they get the W, then I think this team goes on a streak. Detroit plays in Edmonton tmrw, if they lose and we get a W, we’re suddenly only 2 pts back of the wildcard.

  23. Dazzling_Advance_455

We have to do something about our power play, we don’t capitalize on the man down! What do you guys think?!

  24. Worth_Average_9652

Cmon boys !! We’re going on a heater I can FEEL it

  25. Chico-_-

I like it when the Devils win.

In all seriousness, I’m torn between appreciating Daws’ performance but also feeling kinda bad cause VV had to get hurt for Daws to get a start and I obviously never want that. I think its a reflection of this fanbases relationship with VV, we all want him to do well, he makes two saves and the rock starts screaming his name but the guy just needs a break. I hate that it had to come like this though.
