its a bit of an hyperbole statement guys.. especially if you guys don't back it up, non constructive criticism can be seen as bashing. Many young guys in this Oilers roster that certainly could or are be better than an old player such as agostino, which we know is not an NHL caliber player and never will be. Better take a chance with someone you're not sure.
Gretzky never wanted out of Edmonton neither, so using something not even true as an argument.. Everybody knows if Oilers keep having mediocre season, McDavid could leave the team.
That's why a lot of people have an hard time with leafs fan, normally you guys don't do it but this podcast was awful in that regard.. Like saying Montreal should spend the 10 M cap space.. That was 2 years ago, they have less than 4 M now. Guys, if you wanna critic other teams, do it but you gotta educate yourself on those teams first!!

Also to the people who are saying "oh salty Oilers fans crying about criticism of their team" I do agree that it would have been nice for Edmonton to pick up some more skilled guys in free agency, when it comes to just overhauling the team from waiver pickups there is such a thing known as a limit of contracts. Not only that but should the management team not show some faith in the team that they put together rather than just replace everyone before the puck is dropped on the regular season. Just a few thoughts, fans of other teams please continue to piss on the Oilers as these opinions will just go over everybody's heads and probably just lead to more insults

I’ve listened to your podcast for years now and love your guy’s takes. The reason Holland didn’t go after these waiver wire guys is because there have been numerous additions and roster changes this offseason. These guys have all been fighting for roster spots since they got here and throughout the preseason. Holland has preached stability and internal compete since his first interview. Imo it would rub the current players that have been fighting for spots the last few weeks the wrong way if all of a sudden these waiver guys bump out these players. Plus not one of these players got picked up by any other team so there’s more to the story and there a reason these players are on waivers.
