This game was the downfall of the Sharks… since this game, they’ve just been beat and beat and beat again by just about everybody. Definitely the start of our lowest point probably in franchise history, which is a shame considering we just made the Western Conference finals last season. SMH

When I’m watching a game these days and people say “that’s such a horrible call” in my mind I want to show them this. This is the worst call ever. I still think about it once a week

Here’s the thing! Has the concept of hand pass changed enough since it’s inception to warrant a rule change? This was athletic hockey and the prowess to get back to knees and swat puck over feels like an act of skill over advantage. Players can make intentional deflection passes with their skate, legs, upper body etc where does ruling then become a factor if it’s off the hand, I get there’s more control but how does it effect or take away from the integrity of the game; I think this play is an example of where it should be allowed

How could a call like this be missed all 4 officials should be following the puck, horrendous call, but its par for the course with the worst officiating in pro sports.
I was at this game one of the worst experiences being a blues fan I left soaked in beer from people chucking their drinks onto the ice. But happy we came back with a vengeance not to just win the series but the cup altogether.
I'd like to think that the Sharks being dogshit ever since this game has been karma from the Hockey Gods for the blatant favoritism throughout the 2019 postseason run. Might be a few decades before they do anything again.
