Nick Seeler might be an interesting LD depth piece to kick tires on though. Really cheap contract and leads the league in most shot blocking metrics.
The rumour was just we had talked to philly about a defenseman, never specifically Risto.
My guess would have been Seeler for a 6th guy, to shore up depth.
Thank god! He was my biggest worry outside of Monahan going into the new year.
