Obviously, dude hasn’t played in close to year. Did people really think he was going to comeback and play at the top level right away. (Yes I know if there’s one player to do it it would be that beauty)

Understandable, he’ll likely get the last 10-15 games with the Canucks to warm up and then head into the post season. Would be good if he can play some games against Vegas.

I’m way too curious and eager to know what comes out of this lol
gonuxgo
he’ll still be better than huberdeau

Obviously his first game back will be against Vegas. March 7. That’s how they roll.

The clips I’ve seen from Abbotsford were not promising. Dude looks completely gassed. It was fun while it lasted with the memes, but I don’t think a 36 year old Phil Kessel is going to be able to do much for this team tbh. Veteran presence might be the only benefit.

Has there been interest from any other teams? Or are we the only one?

This feel a lot like jumping a shark.

So we’re at about a Philcon 4: Above normal readiness.

So if we sign him, who do we waive to make room? PDG, Aman, or Friedman?

I trust that Toccs has an eye for players that will fit in with the group. Giving Phil a tryout is the right move. There’s not much downside here.

Translation: He’s accumulated 20-30lbs of additional body fat and its gonna take him a second to fix that in combination with some pretty good supplements.
