Regarder cette interview était génial. Jake m’a rappelé à quel point les Flyers étaient bons pendant plusieurs années. C’est un artiste de classe. D’un autre côté, cela me rappelle à quel point AV et Fletcher ont baisé cette équipe et cette organisation. Je suis tellement heureux que les Flyers soient de retour sur la bonne voie en tant qu’organisation.

Good bites about AV being an idiot and how the locker room thought he was a phony with stupid « cliche » sound bytes that annoyed them. Said AV only cared about optics and looking cool/sounding cool. The « Be A Flyer » thing rubbed players the wrong way since AV had no idea what being A Flyer even meant, yet he was yelling it at Simmer and co, who had been there for like 8 years and cherished by the community. Apparently AV told Jake he was washed and the only reason he had good metrics is due to Coots… Kinda fucked up to say to a player.
Really interesting to see how much he loved Philly and that AV/Chuck just finally drove him out. Good stuff in this one.

I could tell AV was a phony because every time a press conference started to get a little iffy for him, he would just bring up Oskar and talk about his cancer instead of hockey. It was a total scumbag move every time.
