In the last radio broadcast of the Stars game they said Brown has 72 shots this season & of course zero goals. That’s hard to do!!
He shouldn’t be sat he puts in good work just can’t get that goal but he’s solid in other aspects

I’ve been in Browns corner since he was acquired at the start of the season. I feel he has a good work ethic, good skater, solid checker, good penalty killer , but really snakebite when it comes to scoring. I don’t think time in the press box will do him any good. Players apparently like him as a teammate and I don’t know if he’s trade able. May have to stick it out with him for the rest of the year and start him on a clean slate next season.
Oilers in great posn last yr except Nurse took a stupid penalty that ref didn't need to call – got suspended and had to replace him w a rookie – Broberg… lading to goal against & Vegas won. Holland not making team better w his signings; bet on Yama $3mil, Pulju, … then Campbell $25mil, then Brown $4mil…. still paying Neal $2mil from the CAP… Need has been a few clutch/finishers… Brown is a bottom 6 player and not a finisher…… so really it is on Holland that he kleps gambling vs building based on history of Finishing…. Still don't have 2 reliable Top6 lines – let alone bottom 6..

Brown was culpable on 2 of the goals against in the Dallas match and his work on the PK hasn’t been great. It’s time for him to sit.
I mean; dude hasn't scored a goal in 62 games now. I can't wait for the Oilers to be done with this Connor Brown experiment. He was hired as a winger to skate with McDavid and ostensibly score goals and he hasn't fulfilled his end of the bargain. Time to move him out. They need a bottom six forward who can actually finish; more than they need a D man or another goalie.

Brown cannot score but he is more affective on the ice then Gagner. Brown on the PK is a good spot for him

He needs to sit.. nothing is working and he needs to produce, so resting him to watch analyze and think might be the boost he needs. More playing time and rolling him through lines hasn't helped.
Useless to scared to say we made a mistake, I have kept harping on minor useless minor penalties this is another point what purpose does he serve to win a cup you need 4 lines all doing a job not 1 or 2 players just there because of some unknown reason.
