The point about Slaf’s game sense being limited by his linemates at the start of the season is so accurate…
For all he brings to the table, Anderson may have the worst game sense on the team, quite possibly the worst teammate for cerebral guys like Slaf and Suzuki.

I was one of them at draft day. Realize his character and work ethic and desire to be the best he can is the real difference maker and maybe the scouts realized in the interviews that he’s got what it takes.
