**Disclaimer 1:** These models are *not* supposed to replace the « eye-test » but to provide supplementary information. No one is arguing that they are the « be all and end all » of hockey analysis (whether quantitative or qualitative).

**Disclaimer 2:** Cards can change within 12 hours as additional actions are credited to a player. What is posted should not be seen as « definitive » even within the constructs of the model.

**Disclaimer 3:** Where these really become useful is to see trends with a player’s performance. To do that, go to https://www.hockeystatcards.com/ and search for a player. You can then see breakdowns of their season-wide score along with trends over time and individual game logs.

Seems to match pretty well. Raymond and Sprong played really well. I thought Seider played better than this, but that was likely due to his offensive contributions.

Kane was rough on defense, whether it be the turnover that led to the breakaway or just overall weak on the puck in defensive zone.

I didn’t think Ras was that bad, but not going to argue the metrics much. Overall felt very sloppy across the board. Guys skated hard but puck seemed to be a pinball, nobody could corral it tonight. Happy to get 2 at the end of a long road trip.

Hopefully can get some rest and be ready to go Thursday in a big game against a strong Avs team.

I like when Petry and Chiarot are more on the right.

I wonder if Larkin would have been down there right with Kane and Rasmussen if he hadn’t assisted on the winning goal. Honestly, I know he probably gets worn down, but coming off the break Larkin has been pretty disappointing. Not noticeable for most of these games.

I also hoped DeBrincat would pick it up after lighting it up at the All Star Game, but he’s still struggling to make things happen. He chips in secondary assists and got that goal a few games ago but I feel like he can provide more.
