He’s had a few days to acclimatize, it’s day two of a back-to-back, and our bottom six hasn’t really produced since Joshua has been out. There’s no better time to give him a go.
Honestly I’d like to see them try Bains on the third line. Mikheyev isn’t working there and it’s a good experiment to see if he has the potential to fill Joshua’s shoes if we get priced out in the off-season

The Pittsburgh team that won the cup in 2016 with Rutherford as GM had players who came up from the minors in Bryan Rust, Connor Sheary and Tom Kunakhl in the line up by the playoffs. Crosby and the core players credited these guys that they brought a spark to the team with their intensity and speed. Hoping for similar effect with potential of Bains in the line up.
High time for this. It’s possible we have some answers for our lineup holes in Abby…a long shot, but worth trying.

A reporter will overhear something – but then they will phrase it like they are a psychic who is predicting something. ‘I’ve got a feeling [this thing I know is going to happen] is going to happen!’ ‘Certainly getting the feeling…’ ‘I wonder if…’ ‘It would make sense if…’ ‘If it were up to me…’
