  1. Would rather see Geno traded and keep Guentzel. Geno is showing his age and can't seem to adapt like Sid. Also the Pens need a starting goalie that, on average, either gives up 1 goal or 7. depends on the game.

  2. Nobody said anything about being sellers other than you. What he said was they were listening. Big difference. Youre inferring that theres going to be a big fire sale and that team has no interest on improving this season.

  3. Core? WTH does that mean! Movable contracts is the only thing that matters. Salary and clauses is the only thing that matters right now. Can't retain any type of salary, when we are trying to build for one more big run at the cup. Signing Malkin was the biggest mistake. There's nothing there after Sid and Geno leave. Jake and Rust are theplaymakers leading the first line? Jake won't sign up for that

  4. With karlsson in the fold, I have to think Letang is expendable. I'd add in one of the goalies. Can they trade Jarry? Perhaps. Nedelkovic seems really impressive to me.

  5. About 3 months ago (5 years ago and every day since) they should have tried switching out the HC. Mike is a good coach but he is SO stale, fans can bearly stand ljstening to him once a month how do you think players feel hearing it every day for a decade? The way hes using EK reminds me of disco dan and iggy. Poor dubas never gave himself a chance to see if this team was any good. Itbis a travesty we have wasted the last few years this way to the point where it may be too late to matter now.

  6. I feel like the biggest problem with this team (other than coaching) is the 2C position. I love Malkin to death but I feel like he’s in the stage of his career where that responsibility is too much for him. If we are still in it to win it then I say next season try to find a new 2C, and either bump Malkin to the wing or put him at 3C. It’s holding the team back.

  7. no fck´n way… he´s da only life insurance; next 2 sid; we have… and we´ll get nothing we r looking for in return, we sell to contenders, so they don´t have high picks and a jack for a 15th pick in the next first round? no fck´n way…. and if he´s gone without comparsion, at least his salary is gone 😉

  8. The core belongs in a senior citizen community in miami. Living in the past gets you nowhere. Start rebuilding this team before we become an even bigger laughing stock.

  9. I wouldn't trust Dubas as far as I could throw him. The guy's the least trustworthy GM in hockey. I can't believe Crosby ok'd the hire.

  10. Hypothetical trade:
    Wild receives
    Tristan Jarry
Maybe a low draft pick to sweeten the deal

    Pens receive
    Marc Andre Fleury
    1st round 2025
Conditional 1st round pick 2026 if MN makes playoffs next season

  11. So basically, coaching staff ain't going anywhere.

Prepare for more disappointment next year.
    Pens organization sucs

  12. I have followed you guys all season and during that time you keep blaming this dismal season on everything/everyone EXCEPT good ole Sully. If you remember, the team went through this from 2010-11 til 2014-15. We changed Coaches in 2014-15 BEFORE the trade deadline and the team was rejuvenated. However, Sully has been the same, tired, non adjustment making, comfortable person on the team.NO ONE listens to him so….he needs to go and take his ENTIRE STAFF with him.

  13. The thing with EK is that he plays a certain way. If you’re coaching strategy doesn’t cater towards that than he’s not going to produce insane numbers

  14. Sullivan has to be fired. That OT decision to not start with Crosby, Rust, or Malkin is ridiculous. YES, you need the third and fourth lines to step up produce so the entire weight is not on the first line to score. However, I don't care how well somebody from the bottom two lines played that game, for only five minutes of overtime it has to mostly be the main guns.

  15. Petterson is the most reliable player on the team. Crosby still has the skill. ALL of the rest of them are expendable. Start with Sullivan and work your way down. Watching them play like a beer league team is disappointing.

  16. The final 4 years of Crosby and Letang will be fun win or lose. The reality is they need to prepare for the end and the only way to do that is with a draft-heavy rebuild. Good luck Penguins a push for a playoff spot is still found behind your leadership and directive. 🏁

  17. Sorry, but I think that Jake is the future of the Pens. Trade Geno, Eric, P.O., Smith. Keep Jake, Petterson, Latang, Rust, O'Conner.

  18. Dump Geno, he’s lazy, slow, couldn’t care less. Sucks up cap space with only nostalgia to show for it.
