Fighting all the game after McLeod takes a stupid, undispline, not in control of himself tripping then a bruins powerplay goal and fighting the rest of the game to keep up. That crap dont count in my books.
Hi Oilers fans, I wake up today very early in order to support my team again live on tv. 4:00am is an absurd time, believe me, but my fan heart is bigger than the sleep. I was very disappointed about the first 35 minutes of this hockey game. It shows all the mistakes our team made at the beginning of the season again in a hard way. Targetless offense, no slot defense, miserable passing and a tired goalie. So there was a result of 1:4 at this point of time, and I was asking myself why in the hell you stand up for such a terrible form?!!! Then Foegele made the second goal and something told me, that next time I will only stand up for the third period! Then the miracle happened, in 3 minutes we made from 2:4 a 4:4 by playing on one goal! Now every bad move or positioning was over, great Teamspirit let it happen. A little mistake and a very good shot from Pasternak let me again think of a lost, but Goalgetter Hyman with the next offensive play made the equalizer for the 5:5! What a period but it came better!! 20 sec before the end Boston got a penalty, suddenly I was totally awakening again. Powerplay for us and also 1:40min in OT. That must be the win, the rest is history 😢😢😢. Cheers from early morning Germany with a sad heart after a thriller in Edmonton. Hope we could eliminate out faults and come back in a better form than this time. Marc
We're not winning a cup with Skinner…Hes an edmonton boy…woot woot…who cares. Campbell saved him last year in the playoffs and probably will again. Skinner is not the goalie that's winning a cup for Edmonton.

A loss to Vegas. A loss to Boston. There are a couple of recurring problems that are a concern. Skinner can make outstanding saves but let in a softie. A goalie needs a .900+ save percentage. That is not good goaltending. The game winning goal was an example of hockey IQ (positional play) that would shame a peewee player.
Skinner was hot garbage , why in the hell does mcdavid have an amazing chance to shoot and score and then he just dumps it away! Our pp and pk sucks all you have to do is shoot on the pp and they chose to pass just brutal ,
The pass on that 2 on 1 with Connor Brown, that was not exactly a perfect saucer. Both Kane and McLeod are completely unable to complete a good pass (see Boston’s 5th goal and OT). At least they got a point.
I said on another media group that they should have put in Pickard as he's won six in a row and is confident. skinner is Fighting the confidence game for some reason since the loss too the golden knights as he's moving around to much and does this when he's not confident. I had already booked this as a scheduled loss game hence why I wanted Pickard in there to maybe help calm the waters. Oh well we just need to win the next two and count ourselves lucky we got the bonus point.
That game was HYPE!! They needed to put it away in the OT with a PP of all things!! Couldn’t do it. Almost beat the big bad bruins. We did walk away with 1 point though.

Defence and goaltending has come back to reality….and the reality is they aren't great
