We are up to 23 games where the Isles have given up three (or more) straight goals. They move to 1-16-6 in those games and have blown a lead in ten of them.
I really wish they would sell but we all know Lou will move the 1. He’s traded the first for FOUR straight years and we aren’t a playoff team. Huge indictment on the roster he’s built

I stopped watching after 3-0
It’s incredibly frustrating how frequently this team has come out flat in really need to win games. Dont get me wrong Trotz had some clunkers in there but overall get a lead they were mentally tough to clamp it down. This team is not mentally tough late in games comes out flat in must have games. After switching from Lane to Roy I don’t think it’s a coaching issue (or I hope not) but it’s definitely a leadership, player, personnel issue. This team needs quite the offseason.
That game was literally a meme. 3 goals in 32 seconds, « You’re not gonna like it… », Goalie pulled at 11 minutes.

I have to hand it to Patrick Roy. His composure to watching « professional » hockey players just completely falter is amazing. I’m sure he’s fuming internally with the amount of blind half assed passes and turnovers we made tn. Props to the Blues for showing the Isles how to properly support your goalies and get the puck out of your zone. We at least made lots of shots – most this season in the second – but there was just no rhythm, all desperation from our lines tonight. I will give credit to McLean though, watched him go for that shot in the late 2nd and he was flying to get there. I hope we have some fresher legs in Bridgeport because we need them badly.
I hate to admit it, but it really may be time to sell. The cupboard is bare, the boys are old. The playoffs are getting farther and farther out of sight.
