@Oilers d'Edmonton

1. I ran into Louie and Scott Oake in Vegas a few years ago. They are such genuinely nice people, and reminded me in my drunken state that I should take a picture with them. Class acts

  2. Watching Louie interview his kid is always special to me. But damn Louie for giving Jake that coupon!

  3. What a story it would be if Jake gets traded to the Oilers. Born and kinda raised on edmonton… dad works for the team. He would be an awesome 3rd line LW

  4. Louie is a pretty well respected and cool color guy, and all happiness to him. But i gotta tell you the play by play guy he works with gets a little too revved up sometimes on the Oiler action. Just take the foot off the gas a little bro. Whoa horsey.

  5. Yeah, it was pretty great to watch. That comment from Jack Michaels about a tear in Louie's eye was also very nice.
    Only the final outcome was disappointing. 😢😉

  6. Louie and Jack are honestly one of the best parts about being an Oilers fan. It's a privilege to listen to them every game.

  7. been a fan of the channel for quite some time, but that first goal, he was square, his angle was off though. 😀

  8. With Debrusk being a UFA (maybe RFA sorry if I’m wrong) I’d LOVE him coming to the
    Oil.

    Great game, while the Oilers weren’t great I feel Kane should shoulder most of the blame for the lost. He gives a terrible “break out pass” to Perry. Then in OT he decided not to chase the puck down when he was the closet player to it and just lets it go for an icing. Then on the OT goal (amazing moves by Macavoy) Kane (understandably tired since the icing that he gave up on happen forcing him to stay out there) preforms one of the worse dive blocks I’ve seen. I’m speaking fundamentally bad

    slides feet first on his side/back making it very hard to control himself which leads to him sliding much further than needed/intended.

    Is stick is in a terrible position to be of any use

    Team could’ve played better but Kane was a large part of the loss

  9. My dad did some taxidermy for Louis, he's such an awesome guy. Met him a couple times at the taxidermy shop.

  10. met louie once, hes a really nice guy, im sure jake is too if thats his dad – not a bruins fan but that really was a killer game, and seeing jake get that goal even had me happy for him

  11. I’m kind of in a phase of my fandom as a life long oilers fan of 34 years, where yes a cup would honestly be nice. But I don’t jones for it anymore to the point where I forget to just enjoy the ride. Moments like this between Louie and his son are so beautiful, and fuck if that kind of isn’t the point of all of this. Remember to have fun and support the boys win or lose. Soon 10 years will have passed and it’ll be a totally different roster and these days will just be a memory.

  12. This is probably the greatest season of hockey I've seen. I can't describe how beyond excited I am for playoff hockey this year. It is going to be absolutely riveting
