Looking at the upcoming schedule it’s really frustrating to think about the four points that we just dropped. All these upcoming games are winnable but would feel a lot better about them if we had some breathing room. Now the team has to go nearly perfect. Back to back at NYI and at NJ is tough especially considering we likely have Jojo for one of them.
Regarding selling Stamkos and then resigning him in the offseason, it sounds good in theory but can’t see it working out in practice. If we dealt him in any capacity, I think that officially signals that it’s no longer his team. Just feels like the bridge would be burned.
