Been watching this team for 15 years and they always struggle vs Nashville. It’s insane

Extremely disappointing effort in an important game with top teams losing and wildcard teams below us winning.. How they come out like that knowing the standings just blows my mind.

Had absolutely nothing going on all game. You know you’re in for a bad time when Trevor Lewis has your best chances.

Just a flat, lifeless effort overall. This was a winnable game and the Kings just didn’t have it at all. Squandered the opportunity to move into a tie with the Oilers.

Lewis on the breakaway gave me 2012 flashbacks

Oh well, not gonna dwell on it. On to the next one.

Well, shit. Can’t win them all.

2-1 game with two long empty netters, closer than it looked.

    Onto the next one.

Even with the sloppy play and complete lack of chemistry, everyone still got their chances. It’s a shame none of them could capitalize on them. Must still be hung over after the last win.

Dave had a good game, but not much else going. Turc was pretty good too, I thought. Had a chance to steal it late, but Nashville played a really good 2nd and 3rd. Wish Arvy didn’t get hurt… GKG

why would we empty net AGAIN after that first goal 😔

Team just off a bit tonight. Part because Saros, part Nashville, and just part being off for this game. It’ll happen, just don’t make it a habit (again).

  12. sophophora

Nashville played an extremely tight 5-man defensive game and just smothered everything the Kings could get going tonight, not to mention Saros making some big stops. Frustrating game for sure, these were huge points on the line.

Nashville’s 2nd goal just cannot happen.

Hope this loss doesn’t come back to haunt us in April…

I had a feeling that they were going to get an EN goal. They were just constantly stealing pucks the whole night, it was inevitable. I want to know how this night would have gone if Rittich finds that puck sitting right under his nose.

Kings never felt in it….but also never out of it. Weird game. Typical Soros Nashville elitist party of the Kabul headed up by David Legwand

  15. Snoozefest of a game. Can’t win them all, but damn.

This team can beat anyone and also lose to anyone. Gotta be able to find some consistency.

Kaliyev looked good at some points this game, not gonna be too harsh since our 4th line has fallen off a cliff since the start of the season. I’m interested to see if they give him his last chances in the top 6 with danualt and moore, he’s looked good there before, and if he doesn’t then it just isn’t meant to be I guess. As much as I hate to say it moore has been awful in the past 10 games man. Especially 5v5. We all knew his heater wasn’t gonna be sustainable but this is a crazy cold streak. That 2nd goal for the preds cant be allowed but we didn’t deserve this one. Preds always seem to have our number with their hard forechecking but boring ass games. Wish we put teams under pressure like that more often.

Part of me is just super frustrated with the Kings but I can’t be for long. This team knows how to win and I swear could beat literally anybody in the league. I think they just have trouble sometimes starting the fire and then keeping it going the entire game.

I’m a Lightning fan first and foremost so maybe someone that knows more about this team then me can explain the situation to me better, regardless, lets go Kings.

Just me or did the whole team look slow tonight? Constantly losing races to loose pucks. Except for Lewis with his 14 breakaways

  20. henreiman

I bet my ticket on Arvy coming back, and sadly it looks like I was at least a little right

This team can still squeeze into the playoffs and then it’s a reset

  21. C91garcia

The game looked slow and Nashville looked big and was hitting hard. We had our chances with breakaways and could have won. Give it to their goalie. We have to be better on breakaways and get that Matthew’s snipe no matter what
