@Maple Leafs de Toronto

1. Wings fan here. Happy to see Bert finally break through. He's a solid player, though all of his contributions don't happen on the scoresheet. Good going Bert!

  2. What do you mean like McDavid, he hasnt scored in like 7 games, has had a completely MidDavid showing this year. Nylander has been a more valuable player than MidDavid and DrySpell.

  3. I think bertuzzi still needs a better team I mean Toronto just doesn't seem to actually work but if these nights start coming then it'll all be worth it. I think he was great in his short time with the bruins, would love to see him return someday if we cleared cap for him

  4. that game probably would've gone into overtime if it weren't for that delay of game. As much as i hate to see my boys lose it was a fun game to attend last night. Ill take a good game that they lost over a crappy game played any day. The leafs were able to shut down the avs in the second and that game em the confidence they needed into the third to keep pushing. Unfortunatley for the avs when their d got scrambled things went south quickly

  5. Bert's been my guy since he joined the Leafs. I just watched his style of play and dug it a lot. So, to see him have a great game and justify same of the lingering praise for him was real nice. Hopefully it's just the beginning of a renaissance for him. He could be big in the playoffs. Also, love the NyDoBer line.. what a fracking nightmare that line is turning into.

  6. At one point in this game Bertuzzi broke his stick and blocked a slapshot with his leg. You could tell it hurt him but he stayed in position.
    Then later in the game he kicked out his skate to stop a goal mouth pass that likely would have been a tap in for the Av's if he hadn't made that block.
    He played a good game at both ends of the ice.

  7. This leafs team is going nowhere in the playoffs trust me. They did the same thing last year and crumbled when it mattered most. IT WILL HAPPEN AGAIN TRUST ME

  8. Tbh JT is the only one who’s been playing bad…he either holds on to the puck for too long and turns it over or he passes at the wrong time and miss a golden opportunity…imo he’s pressing too much to contribute

  9. Still miss him in Detroit! He was one of my favorite players. Loved watching him in Grand Rapids in the AHL back in the day, too!

  10. Was excited to see Toronto get him but like most fans, was expecting way more. Very happy for Bertuzzi – it’s going to be talked about for years.

  11. Miss seeing Bertuzzi in the Bruins lineups. Had high hopes for him there, maybe he'll be back someday.

  12. Bertuzzi rules. If you play fantasy hockey, he’s not the best in terms of generating points, but if you’re a real hockey fan and watch every leafs game… man, he’s somehow able to be everywhere at once.
    He’s an amazing addition, and I love his style

  13. his first goal was also his 100th goal meaning he got 2 pucks today 1 for the 100th and the other for the hat trick what a birthday

  14. Another dude you hate until he comes to your team. Leafs are scary right now. My team has to play them twice in a 5 day span soon. Thanks for another strong video!

  15. I think what surprises me the most about Bertuzzi's season is that with all the offensive firepower on the Leafs, he has such few assists. During his short stint with the B's, it was actually his playmaking abilities that impressed me the most. He's definitely good in front of the net for garbage goals and deflections, but that dude can make some pretty slick passes, and do it on the fly. Plus he has that pesky/gritty side to him too, I was bummed Boston couldn't sign him, he fit right in, lol.
