  1. Agree. 3on3 and shootout needs to go. I'm with you. 10min 5on5 or even 4on4 then tie. They will actually play for the win

  2. The patience Krebs had…unbelievable! I could feel how winded Tuch was for that last 3 mins he was out there. Greenway was dominate tonight also…he was everywhere and his penalty killing is awesome. Okposo was awesome too…for a 2 mil player…he really does give his all. I think that was also the loudest I've heard the crowd since Sabres beat Vegas/Eichels return visit.

  3. Great energy when they needed it today, the crowd was very loud and into it. Awful penalty, not goalie interference. UPL strong again, he has really become an anchor for the often floundering ship! Keep it going!

  4. I was in the building with my nieces and the ending was electric. I’m so happy they got to experience that kind of atmosphere and hopefully more winning can bring in a new generation of fans.

  5. Not for nothin', but why is Erik Johnson still in the lineup? He hasn't had a very good year (to say the least) but he has really looked particularly old and bad over the past few weeks. This team needs to stack wins and perhaps they're finally started doing so. If that's the case then E. Johnson needs to take a seat. He's a woeful -7 over his last 5 games and he has scored 0 points. Think of that. -7. Over the last 5 games. In those 5 games the Sabres have given up 11 goals. 8 of those goals were at 5-on-5. Therefore, E. Johnson has been on the ice for 7 of the last 8 even strength goals against… over those 5 games. He almost single handedly was responsible for the loss to Anaheim with his -3 in that game. Miserable. Terrible. Awful. For a team that is fighting for every game to try and get back into the playoff race he just cannot be in the lineup. Time for the soon to be 36 year-old (on 3/21/2024) to take a seat in the press box or wherever healthy scratches watch from. He is of no use to this team. Trade him at the deadline for a box of feathers. Or a bag of hammers. I'm pretty sure you can find either in Mike Robitaille's garage, attic or basement. They were always Robie's "assets of choice" for the Sabres to obtain when trading away someone who was not worthy of a roster spot on the team.

  6. Got to go to the game tonight. Not a huge crowd, but the building was really into it. Really fun game, and happy to get a win over The Canes.

  7. You play like that against the Hurricanes, no reason not to think with that same level of play from UPL that you can compete in the next 5 games and win each. No doubt they need to find ways to score, but UPL can keep you in every game and relevant. That performance from UPL in OT was spectacular. He was a brick wall in net.

  8. Tonight just shows how UPL has improved.. in the past, UPL on the shootout… BAD… for us.. Clearly he’s learned and I think that’s from Levi… I see so much of Levi’s game in UPL this year and UPL has improved because of it… I knew Levi would help us this year.. I just didn’t expect it in this manner..

  9. our feeling was right! I had no worry tonight. This was the Sabres best game of year. They went down 2-1 and just kept coming. I knew it was coming. Man tonight felt great, now I hope they can keep it up

  10. I agree with the Shootout 100%. NEVER liked it and don’t believe that kind of one on one type of thing belongs in a TEAM sport. As far as OT, I think we need to go back to 2 points for a Win and ZERO for a Loss. And I would be ok with 4 on 4 for 10 minutes to open up the Ice, but this 3 on 3 garbage needs to go away too.

  11. Krebs really impressed me this game. Had some solid moments and his patience on the game tying goal was clutch. Hope he keeps improving

  12. Great game and great win. BUT, we have to do something about our faceoffs. Geez – it would be nice to win a faceoff in our zone during a PK. You're just giving your opponent too many opportunities if you're losing 2 out of every 3 faceoffs.

  13. They showed Tuch on the bench after that long late shift, exhausted, prob the hardest shift of the year. Wow what an effort! That's a win streak!

  14. Three games in a row they've outhit their opponents. That has to be a season record? Has Granato finally got through to them?
