Torts will take this team over the playoff line regardless of the deadline. Then we will see what happens.

What a disaster Briere has been. He trades for Walker and its obvious he will end up trading him away after 1 year. To do that he had to eat the 5 million dollar dud Peterson. Then he trades for an obvious damaged goods in Drysdale who pretty much is done as an nhler since he can't take any hits at all. The Drysdale trade could go down as one of the worst nhl trades ever depending on what gauthier does and whether that 2nd round pick pans out.
Now he brings up a swedish sieve from the ahl who has a pitiful .882 save percentage on the lame hope he can somehow be better than the 5 million dollar dud Peterson. And he brings up another swede Attard who probably is just too green to be a positive at this critical juncture in the playoff run.
Briere has to be on the watch to get fired if the flyers don't make the playoffs this year.

I love torts. I am so happy and grateful that we've got him here in Philadelphia. He's absolutely one of the best in the business, period. Go flyers and go Coach.
Whether the Flyers make the playoffs or not, Torts did an amazing job this season. Look at the man games lost to injuries. The Carter Hart situation. Lack of NHL depth and experience on the roster. No bonafide superstar. Yet, they found ways to win and be competitive. If they can make the playoffs, anything can happen. Look at the Panthers last year.
Only thing left for Torts to do in his career is coach the Toronto Maple Leafs

You can tell last game after second period ended that Torts ripped into these guys because they came out a different team in the third LOVE TORTS BRING CUP BACK TO PHILLY ITS BEEN WAY TO LONG
