As someone who left Buffalo years ago watching the nutjob politics up there makes me say … I don't blame players for not wanting to go to NY State. Taxes, illegal migration on steroids, weather….blah blah blah…. I don't blame them. Still love the old days in Buffalo, but those days are long gone.

Benson does not belong. He continues to get bullied out there. I know that the CBA rules don't let him play in Roch…but there is no reason he plays top 6 minutes.
Krebs isn't good… He could be good… But he gets antsy when he is on the ice for more then 10 seconds. Starts off great and then after 10 seconds of skating he can't keep the puck on his stick at all, he instantly gets rid of the puck, he rarely ever keeps possession of the puck, he slaps the puck down the ice or along the boards 90% of the time, lucky if instead he is making an actual pass.
Sorry he might have all the talent and physical tools in the world but he doesn't see the game, he gets antsy doesn't think about where his team-mates are on the ice and he just whacks the puck around, and he can't score or help his team score, 11 points in 58 games ffs, only forward worse on the team is Girgensons when it comes to scoring.
He is a 4th liner at best, not even a good one either.
Not sure why you keep propping up Peyton they already tried using them last year then they tried recently to put them on higher lines. He just doesn’t produce he’s not a good player. I’m not saying get rid of him, but he doesn’t deserve more ice time he’s just bad, so until he turns it around. Who cares

Krebs deserves to be 3rd centre ( if he resigns) next season and put Middelstadt as the second line centre ( again if he agrees to resign here) assuming hes not traded in a package for top 4 D man and put Cozens on his wing with Quinn . First choice would be to sign UFA Brett Pesce Carolina ( hes from New York state ) or Josh Brown Arizona ( from London Ontario) and keep Middelstadt, but if you cant sign Pesce or Brown then look at trading Middelstadt in a package for a stay at home D man to partner Owen Power as this is Adams number 1 priority this summer! Sorry its a hard NO on Jokiharju as Powers partner. They can resign him but hes the 7th D man.
4th line centre do you put Kulich there? Probably not because as a rookie centre he would get eaten alive in faceoffs and Buffalo is already weak on faceoffs . Instead of going with a rookie go after UFA Jack Roslovic CBJ to be your 4th line centre .
