Looked like a different team tonight.
The boys killed it tonight, 2x SHG, PPG, 5v5 and all this against the Cup Champs. Season series is done and Buffalo 2-0. Benson without a penalty?!? I gotta give Okposo praise, he has been great for the team as a leader tbh. Despite the ups and downs he was quite consistent for giving his all. Power said while watching from the stands says he learned alot…and it really showed the games he has played since the return. It sucks they didnt get a point against Florida cause they deserved it. UPL super solid yet again. No doubts for me that he is a legit #1. If he was gonna show he can't be consistent I think it would have been 3 or 4 games in…not 18. Lets hope Comrie can follow through in tomorrows Winnipeg game. Beers all around for the boys tonight!
I will be uploading some clips from the game in the morning. Dylan Cozens looked like Peca on that penalty kill… When I recently commented that the Sabres needed to learn how to play team defense this year and therefore adjust the offense accordingly, this is evidence that we are now seeing the payoff. Whatever happens the rest of this season I fully believe we will become a dominant team next year. And this season isn’t over! It would be absolutely incredible to get in this year.
This was my first ever Sabres game in Buffalo that I've attended! What a win! I live in Maryland and attend Sabres games when they come to town to play the Caps, but this was a whole different experience. So much fun, Krebs was looking right at our section when he skated off after that fight and waved to the crowd!
Why does it take until late February/early March for the boys to play like this? We know this is the type of team they can be! Thanks Wayne 💙💛💙

Beautiful Win tonight, but i have to say i was scared shitless when Vegas came back from 2-0 to tie it up . Earlier in the year the Sabres would've folded , but tonight the Sabres said bring it and stuck it to Vegas!! . Shows how much theyve grown – improved!
Too bad Tampa and NYI won tonight but at least Detroit lost and the Pens just blew a 3-1 lead and lost 4-3 in regulation to Calgary . 😊
I say start UPL tomorrow night against the Jets who are coming off an emontional win in Carolina . They were down 3-0 and won 5-3 !
It's amazing how similar this season is compared to last year. Team gets hot late in the season, and we ask ourselves where was this early on. I'm super excited with our goalie situation. The future looks great there, now we have to keep the offense fortified, and maybe add a weapon or two. Do you see us adding anyone before the deadline if this hot streak continues Wayne? Anybody that catches your eye? It's amazing how a week ago we talked about this being our toughest stretch, and we're 3-1 so far. Darn the Florida loss, but we played them tough. Also Pittsburgh still has 3 games in hand on us even though we're tied at 62 points with them. I hate that…ugh. It just feels like we'll come so close like last year, and just come short, but I still remain optimistic.If nothing else I think we should feel great in 2025 in the goaltending department. That took a huge step this season. Thanks again for the great videos you put out Wayne, always enjoy them..GO SABRES!

I really wish this could have been the team we were watching from the start of the season. Taking 50 games to figure it out has put the odds so against them that it's really hard to get overly excited over a dominant win like this
Finally a Saturday night game (in Britain at least) that I could watch that Buffalo didn't bungle! Great performance again. I'm just curious as to the turnaround since new year. 🤔 and hope they keep it up beyond the trade deadline. Once it passes and the players are secure until summer they better not slacken the pace. But this was a nice one to see. 😊
Why do they wait so long to wake up, is it the age factor? Similar thing last year, big win on national game against Vegas, just keep it going now. Skinner really set the tone early, UPL was soild "Gold"! Seeing them score so well was nice.
