Buffalo/Winnipeg looked more lopsided with those two empty net goals. Buffalo played a decent game against one of the best teams in the West. Winnipeg was simply the better team.

As a new jersey fan my whole life and a hockey fan, i have never seen a team that good play so poorly the loss to the ducks felt like the white flag was thrown. I don't understand what's going on there.

I know the "no mercy" magnet was warranted, but let's be honest. The Oilers showed a ton of mercy in the 3rd. That could've easily been a 9 or 10-1 game if McDavid and co. kept their foot on the gas.
The best thing that has happened to the Oilers over the last 2 years is that the goal scoring has shifted from just McDavid to the rest of the crew. This will make it harder for teams in the playoffs to stifle the Oil’s offensive clout by simply smothering McDavid.
