    #WE REACHED 40 WINS

  2. ajbolt7

Seriously though we played a great 2nd and 3rd period, the Canucks earned that win and it feels damn good to take one back after the embarrassment last week.

  3. SuddenCourse

We’re in one of the highest scoring eras in modern history and the Kings choose to trap. Fuck them, glad we won!

  4. TheOtherSide999

    40 FUCKING WINS BABY WOOOOOOOOOO

  5. its_the_luge

Jackie Treehorn Miller to the rescue AGAIN

  6. Sprookie07

Hughes is an absolute machine, another 28 min game

  7. BrahjMahal

Damn the Kings are a stingy team. That said, never really had a doubt that the boys were going to pull it off tonight.

Watching Quinn Hughes is a treat. The dude has crazy handles, speed, and insane hockey IQ.

  8. Soucy comes back and the D looks way more poised. One of managements more underrated signings.

  9. TopTittyBardown

Those are the kind of games we need to be playing. Kept up the intensity and made them play our game from the second period onwards. Heavy forechecking to keep sustained pressure and did a good enough job keeping them to the outside in our zone with Demko stopping the few good chances that got through. Miracle save on Turcotte. Soucy being back is also huge, he looked so steady and calm back there. Hopefully that’s the kind of hard fought win they can build off of. Icing on the cake was it being bitch boy Fiala taking a pissy penalty away form the puck that cost the Kings the game

#40 starts the scoring to get our 40th W

WHAT A FUCKING WIN FUCKING HUUUUGE BOYS FUCK THE KINGS FUCKING FUCKS

  14. chillFF

Great adjustments from last game against the Minnesota Wild. I mean LA trap kings. Skate up with speed and get in on the forecheck. On to the next

I too button my shirt from a weird location. 3 buttons up and lifting one foot like captain morgan. This is so i have the highest chance of not having it lined up.

  16. OneChet

God guy Demko high fiving kids on the way out.

  17. ProtoMan3

We badly needed a performance like that. After a bit of a slow start (not playing terribly but one dumb mistake in the first) we really adjusted well and earned that victory. Very clean third and OT besides the Kings chance that was robbed by Demko.

Let’s go for the road trip sweep boys!

  18. Nuck_1198

Knowing that stemmed from Fiala’s stupidity makes it even sweeter!

  19. Twatts71

Pierre Luc Dubois thinks he’s tough with that tinted visor and his 27 points (one more than Ilya Mikheyev)

#TARPS OFF BOYS AND GIRLS WE ARE GOING STREAKING

  21. Kings can take their 1-3-1 trap and suck it.

Love the answer back from the boys tonight! We took over the 2nd half of this game and made it a pain in the ass for LA. Demko was unreal as usual, but genuinely he bailed us out MASSIVELY throughout this game.

Rank your favourite moments from this game:

    3. Where in the World is Elias Viktor Zebulon Lindholm?

    2. THAT Demko save.

    1. Millsy in OT.

Honourable Mention: Juulsen stretching in the background with Juice talking

  23. The kings are now 0-2-2 when I’m in the building this season

  24. SupraKuhn

worth staying up on the east coast for!! let’s go

  25. icantthinkofaname940

Tonight was Rick Tocchet’s 100th game behind Vancouver’s bench.

    His record is 60-29-11.

  26. VancityRenaults

Winning two 2-1 games in a row really bodes well for this team, these are the hardest games to win.

  27. freszh_inztallz42o

Was liking these calculated pinches by the d to keep pressure on the kings. Unh, lfg boys 🐳

  28. ForceEconomy9988

The Kings are an embarrassment to the NHL.

Great win from the boys. Looked sloppy for a few minutes there and we easily could have lost this game based on that, but other than that, they looked really good and dominant at times. Besides trapping Kings play such a tight game defensively, so little room out there, not a great team to play to start to gain confidence as a group but the boys did it. Big W and good vibes on the way to play a struggling Knights team.

  29. Love this win.

I thought Garland/Lindholm line were amazing tonight and both players were great. I think this might have been one of Lindholms best games with us so far. I personally don’t want him traded and want to see him with Joshua/Garland but who knows what’s happening the next two days.

Petey had a good game and Demko was a monster. The fourth line was good but I still think it needs an upgrade on wing.

  30. JT made up for the Kings goal. If you go back and look at it he was the one who told Hronek to move closer to the face off dot which caused the confusion when he won the draw and Hronek and Hughes didn’t know where to put the puck.

  31. Woooooody

Later games shouldn’t be allowed to be this stressful and tense, how am I supposed to sleep now?!?

Also where’s the guy who declared game over the second LA scored?

  32. k1dcanuck

Soucy makes a gigantic difference. Intelligent, strong, can pass. Hugely important moving forward.

There was a play where the puck went behind the Canucks net and was going to ricochet around and he could have chased it behind the net with a Kings player on him but instead took body position on the Kings player and got the puck on the ricochet to clear it. Great example of his defensive awareness.

  33. juwong_

Soucy’s return to the lineup can really be felt. His presence is really underrated, it really seems like we have so much more cushion with him, particularly in the neutral zone.

  34. ziggazang

Been waiting almost 10 years for a playoff game with attendance and if we draw the boring ass kings it’ll be such a kick in the nuts

  35. TopTittyBardown

Also amazing game from Petey all around. He looked dangerous and confident with the puck whenever he had it

  36. sailflower

This game felt so right, at least in terms of bouncing back after a slow first and keeping up the intensity. Felt like a pre-slump team!

  37. BrokenOfficeChair2

This game was 100% true teamwork. Just like coach wanted. Stay with the play, don’t get frustrated..

And it paid off! We kept trying and trying against a very, very well defended kings roster with an amazing goalie that made the game so close as it was, same with Demko. A true standoff and we come out on top! Hughes with good defensive plays, Pettersson with the amazing goal and Demko with pure robbery.

Overall a true team effort, and a lesson how how to get things done. Let’s carry this momentum to Vegas.
