Alex Wennberg a été échangé aux Rangers de New York par le Seattle Kraken mercredi contre deux choix au repêchage. Seattle, qui a conservé 50 pour cent du contrat de Wennberg, a reçu un choix de deuxième ronde au repêchage 2024 de la LNH et un choix conditionnel de quatrième ronde au repêchage 2025 de la LNH, précédemment acquis des Stars de Dallas. Le choix deviendra un choix de troisième ronde si le défenseur de Dallas Nils Lundkvist, acquis de New York avant la saison dernière, termine avec 55 points combinés entre la saison dernière et cette saison.
