  1. Yohe is an Athletic beat writer. Very well connected in Pittsburgh and very well connected with Jim Rutherford.

  2. Im hearing Jason Zucker is one of the trade targets Alviin and Vatrano is another target they called about

  3. No chance do you put hoglander in a trade for a rental for 2 months. The fact that you said you would be ok with that is foolish.
That’s just wrong on so many levels.

  4. Take a video about this , The world is now ruled by one community of people, the world Satanic elite, you can also call them the committee to meet the Antichrist and prevent the 2nd coming of Jesus, Trump called them the deep state, at the moment it consists of about 10,000 people, the main ones there are Rockefellers, Rothschilds, Windsors, Baruchs, they, their ancestors, descendants and other people who enter there have the mark of Lucifer, which, if they bring the antichrist and do not allow the 2nd coming, they will receive eternal life after the x hour, and the rest of humanity, for all the time that they have lived, they won't get anything, so all people should know about the existence of a world government (Jesus who was a The Prophet of God, not God.God will send Jesus as a reward to humanity, if humanity deserves it, for this it is necessary to fight Lucifer and his elite)

  5. I think need hoggy going forward. potential for a top six forward who plays the way toc likes and he could be cheap for years to come ( ie . a smart way around the cap problem)

  6. No way I'd even trade Hoggy straight up for Guentzel. Never mind as part of a package. What do you get when you put Hoglander in the top 6 for an entire season, give him top 6 minutes and give him good power play minutes? Given he might crack 25 goals this year playing most of the year on the 4th line with 4th line players, getting 4th line minutes without power play time there is absolutely no reason to believe he won't blossom into a 40 goal, point a game player just like Guentzel if given the opportunity. Not to mention Guentzel is only a rental. To give up that kind of asset at a bargain cap hit plus other assets would be a joke and a bad one.

  7. Trade Guentzel to the Avs for Valeri Nichushkin. VN has an AAV of $6.125. VN can play with Crosby if Guentzel is gone. I don't want silly prospects and a pick for the Pens.
    Trade Graves to the Devils?

  8. Any GM who trades Hogs is REALLY bad at cap reality. A controlled contract player who may be good for 30 a year in his peak, who also seems to mesh well with the guy you just signed for 11.7 million a year…yeah lets trade him for a rental . Simply illogical.

Was not the asking price reported to be a "prime prospect"? Hoglander is hardly a prospect anymore. He may not be ideal …yet…but he is already a proven NHL player.

Personally I wouldn't do the deal one for one. Not as if Guentzel is going to improve at his age.

  9. Hoglander cannot be involved. He is the only consistent scorer right now. Furthermore the whole point is to get Guentzel to fill the top 6. If you're then pulling a guy out to get him, well the hole remains so what's the point. As for prospects, Lekkerimaki cannot be part of why deal. They are sure to lose Boeser next year, and Lekkerimaki should be able to slide into that spot in a couple years. Same with Willander and Pettersen.

The only way this deal can happen is through a 3rd team. And that's likely what management is fighting with. Finding that match

  10. Unlike most here, I’d actually take Guentzel for Hoglander, Mikheyev (Cap dump) plus a (2025) 1st. lol I know people love Hogz, but it is what it is.. We need to win now while our top players are in their prime. We can re-sign both Lindholm (7×3) and Guentzal (8×5) but we’d be bargain shopping for our bottom three defensemen. Perhaps Tanev? (2×2) It would be worth having some plugs in the bottom two slots for that dynamic offense. Demko is that good. Maybe Willander makes the jump the following year, who knows? Worst case Lindholm leaves and we go after better defensemen with the space saved.

  11. I was wondering why they were showcasing arshdeep bains st this time?I don’t know if brining in a rookie in the stretch run is a good idea.Given that they are slipping a bit.I believe it could be so that other teams get a look at him as he might be a bargaining chip.I would do that deal.Bains and Hoglander maybe a pick for Guentzel?Rutherford is a master at deals and nothing is off the table.except of course the obvious. Many times deals get done that no one has an inkling of.
