Tonight, Lakers badly lost the rebounding battle, and their bench was outscored. Again, the Lakers struggle when the opposition has a dominant center. Sabonis took care of the Lakers on the boards, and Monk made sure that their bench dominated. It is time to abandon the AD at center experiment. I think the Lakers still think it is a viable strategy because they won the finals over a shorthanded and size-challenged Heat in 2020. Somehow, they forgot that they used Dwight Howard and Javale McGee in all the other games and series.
